Homestays

Each student fills out a questionnaire prior to departure to best match up individuals with one of the over 100 families (average) that we work with in the various countries. Each school and many families have been visited personally by someone on our staff. The families are generally middle-class families who have hosted dozens of foreign students in the past. They will provide you with 2 or 3 meals daily (depending on the country), laundry service and a private room, in addition to a wonderful cultural experience.

We recommend one English-speaking student per family (unless otherwise requested) to ensure that you will have the maximum opportunity to practice the language with your host family. However, couples, friends and families are often placed together. We can also place friends in the same neighborhood, so that they are able to share taxis or bus rides. Friends and family are welcome to join you and can often stay with you at your home. We can also place students at local hostels if you wish for an additional price.
